Ya know, it's not often I'll go out of my way to post a review for a business of any kind. However, I had the privilege and the pleasure of attending Freeman’s-eats this afternoon and I have to share my experience. I travel the country as a hotshot driver and I have had steaks from some of the best chefs and cooks across the country! As a matter of fact Sam was the first Chef here at Freeman’s-eats that absolutely blew me away with the flavor profile and tenderness of the steaks he served... not just the Route 66 Strip that I'm partial to but an absolutely phenomenal ribeye as well!! I make it a point that no matter how far out of my way, I make sure that I stop by when traveling even remotely close to pickup a Steak from Sam! Welp today.... I learned Sam wasn't available so his next in line Ms.Ireland would be handling my order.... now Freeman’s-eats knows if Sam isn't available I want my meatloaf!! Another phenomenal Dish that outshines every meatloaf I've had to date... it took some persuasive maneuvers to convince me that Ms.Ireland was up to the task and I have to say.... watch out Sam!! You're teaching them too well and that was the most amazing meal I could've asked for at the end of a very long week! Freeman’s-eats continues to exceed expectations and surprises me at every turn!! Truly a taste of small town America and the best home cooked meal in the state! Phenomenal Job Ms.Ireland, I look forward to my next visit and can't wait to enjoy another evening here at Freeman’s-eats!!!

Just west of OKC there is a hidden gem that is Freeman’s! The vibe of historic honor and clean open space with nostalgia and comfort is beyond amazing. The staff is phenomenal and the owner, Mike - speaks from a place of passion meeting project to respect the integrity and history of both the space and the menu - Miranda was exquisite in her cocktails and Service and the food … OHHHHH the food - when I tell you this place will transcend you to your memaws kitchen but with a little extra flavor I am not lying! Hands down best meatloaf I have ever eaten and the flame grilled touch to it is beyond chefs kiss !!!!!!! And do yourself a favor - do NOT miss the apple pie with CINNAMON ice cream ! We will be back , we will schedule special events and we will say we told ya’ll about this place when it’s packed and you can’t even get a seat because it’s coming ! 12 out of 10 yum!

We attended their Valentines Dinner. It was a three course meal; salad, entree, and dessert. It also included a drink from the bar. The food was delicious. We needed to go boxes. The service was also excellent. We will definitely be returning again.

This is a gem in El Reno. The staff were nothing but pleasant and the food was amazing. The burger was seasoned really well and so when you bit into it was filled with flavor. The Chicken Fried Chicken is seasoned and breaded to perfection - not too heavy on the breading, just the right amount of crisp. The jalapeño ranch was incredible, too. I’m not usually one for spicy foods, but it delivered a mild heat that was combined really well with the creamy ranch. Definitely a must, even if you don’t live in the El Reno area. It’s about 30-40 minutes from OKC, but it’s well worth the drive.

This was the BEST food and service we've had in a LOOOOONG time. Kira ( our waitress) was exceptional! And so attentive! Next to my Mom's meatloaf this was amazing!!! The fried mushroom was so crunchy! Thank you so much for the great service!

The place is beautiful and has a very open and wide seating with high ceilings. The food was amazing! I ordered the ribeye, and my dad ordered the meatloaf. The meatloaf was probably the best I’ve ever had, and my ribeye was a little over cooked but the flavor was so delicious and it was well seasoned! The portions are huge. Our server was very attentive and nice. We will definitely be back!

We had spotted this restaurant last time going through El Reno and wanted to give it a try the next time we came to the old downtown area. It’s located in the old JCPenney store and it is evident that much love and attention to detail went into the remodel. The hostess told us that the tabletops had been reclaimed wood from the original store and old photos of the store and downtown El Reno adorned the walls. Upon looking at the menu, we tried the Freeman Family Tree-oh, an appetizer sampler. We all thoroughly enjoyed their spin on these favorites, and all 3 foods were delicious. Our Littles wanted a cheeseburger and hot dog. They were enthusiastically enjoyed. Mrs. Flip Out tried the Old School Sloppy Joe and Tater Twisters. It was very good. I had the Freeman Family Meatloaf with loaded mashed potatoes and side salad. The meatloaf was different with a sear on it, and it was delicious. Mrs. Flip Out agreed. The loaded mashed potatoes was an interesting twist on mashed potatoes and I really enjoyed them. A really neat place! We hope you try it as you’re passing through El Reno.

We came to visit this place that had really great reviews. If you love southern home cooking that grandma use to make, this is the spot. My husband was NOT a fan because it lacked flavor to him. He’s half Hispanic so I mean I get it. But my Texas born and raised self of 32 years enjoyed it. The people were nice, the old JCPenny building was a nice touch to eat at, the food was great. Also the bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Thank you for having us and doing what you do!
